Inktober 2017 - Day 21, Final Fantasy Day

I've been a big fan of Final Fantasy since around FF VIII.  VIII was the first one that I was able to finish and maybe that's why it's my favorite.  I've since finished many of the others, but VIII still holds a special place.  Squall's limit break is where my handle gets its namesake.  The FF VIII official art was really tough to emulate here.  I don't know if the originals were made with watercolors or paints, but I tried my hand at using some Prismacolor colored pencils to match the style and it didn't turn out so great.  I'm not even remotely skilled enough to try and blend markers in this way, so there you have it.

Also, I had the absolute worst time trying to reproduce the face. I drew it and redrew it over the course of a few days, trying to get everything right.  Still mucked it up though.
